Richworks 2.0
A new identity for my profile, website and everything else...
I am not a full fledged logo designer nor am I aware of the dynamics of branding and identity.. but I thought every brand needs a new face once in a while... So, i am open to all kinds of criticism on this one..
Here is my thought process behind the creation of this logo:
The central stalk depicts the pen nib which is the most powerful weapon for an artist... Being a great "fan" of science and its influence in design, i also believe, the stalk depicts the marriage between the two (at lower levels of abstraction, of course)
Both of them always co-exist with each other....
The side lobes signify several things actually, it means the wholeness and the omnipresence of design. It also means care and respect for my works. I am a big fan of Symmetry so I decided the mirror image is one of the strongest way to apply the symmetrical aspect into the logo.
The lobes also signify the renaissance/rebirth of a whole new era of design and creativity (which we are living in right now)
Finally, I think the reason I chose the colors Red and Blue is because they are both primary colors and signify great things in different culture and traditions... Some might say, it also depicts the 3D vision sort of a thing... well, either way it is good
So, I would love to hear your thoughts on this... I am open to any kind of criticism, suggestions and opinions.. so, c'mon... Shoot!!
